SewSpecsSpec sheets for job-specific sewing machines. Figures read 2026-11-05.

How SewSpecs works

What is covered

23 machines picked for four jobs: quilting, leather, embroidery and industrial sewing. A machine is listed only when its maker publishes enough figures to compare it on at least one job number.

How a figure gets in

Each number is taken from the maker's product listing and stored with its URL and reading date. That value is then looked up on an independent dealer listing. Match: green mark. No second page found: "maker only". Different numbers: "not confirmed yet", and the figure stays out of the rankings. Missing on the maker page: "not published". Nothing is estimated.

Right now 36 of 108 cells have two matching sources, from 40 pages read on 2026-11-05.

What is not here

No hands-on tests, no star ratings and no reviewer names. The site has no staff bios because there are no reviewers to describe. Ounce and inch leather ratings are not converted into each other.
